Relationship?  With Whom, Really?

Sometimes we build a relationship not with the real person, but with our own stories and perceptions of the other person.

Where do you do this?  And how is it working for you?

Watch this for more.

We’d really like to hear your thoughts on this.

One Thing for Romance

Tuesday, February 28th, 2012

When life gets hectic, romance is often the first thing to fall away. Would that be true for you?
You know how it goes – hectic all day and when you finally get home, it’s a quick bite of supper and off to more meetings or flop on the couch in front of the tube or …
Why not keep the romance happening all of the time? I’m not necessarily meaning sex, however only you know what might happen. We’re meaning simple little acts, or behaviour to keep the interest and passion alive. Check this out!!

What one thing are you going to do TODAY? Just one thing!!

Have fun!

Movers and shakers usually have a lot on the go. Are you one of them? It can be easy to take on more tasks, yet sometimes there are past tasks that just haven’t been completed yet. These incompletions can be an anchor that hold you back. They drag and suck your energy, enthusiasm, and energy.

But that was in the past, right? NOW, do something about it – just one thing. Check this out:

What one thing are you going to do today?

Community Relationships Count

Saturday, November 5th, 2011

Relationships are everywhere!!

And it’s important to build them everywhere.

I know this is not about the “couple relationship” however it will give you perspectives about how you and your partner can affect a much bigger circle. It’s all about sharing love, and creating opportunities to experience greater happiness, joy, and fulfillment.

Check out the video and article about a one-of-a-kind investment co-op we’ve been involved with in our community.  It’s interesting to note that of the founding members, about half of them are rock-solid couples.

Go here and read down a bit to where you can watch the video and another link for the pdf file of the article. Please like them and share them around.

A critical starting place for us was recreation and kids, through support from Alberta Recreation and Parks Association (ARPA) and their Active Creative Engaged Program (ACE).  And another critical support component was from Alberta Community and Cooperatives Association (ACCA).

Might it be the kind of thing you can work on together in your community?  We’re happy to support and help however we can.

Have a super day!

Being Vulnerable In Your Relationship

Wednesday, July 27th, 2011

It can be easy to ignore the condition of your relationship and think it will get better on it’s own. It doesn’t work like that.

We need to become honest and vulnerable, and reach out to others to ask for their support and help – firstly to your life-partner, and then maybe to search out and ask for help from others who are qualified.

So, what are you going to do today, to be a bit vulnerable, and reach out and ask for help?

If you need an understanding ear, please call us.

Shared Experiences

Monday, July 18th, 2011

What do you do together – the two of you?

If you don’t create shared, or common experiences, what is it doing to the quality of your relationship?

So, the question again, what common experiences are you going to create TODAY?

And what do you suggest/recommend other couples do to bring their relationship closer together?
